As a Branch Manager at Darling Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail showroom specializing in electronics, gadgets, and furniture. Your main goal will be to ensure smooth showroom functioning, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive the branch’s sales and profitability targets. You will manage all aspects of the branch, from sales and customer care to inventory, visual merchandising, and team development, fostering an engaging and welcoming environment for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Showroom Operations: Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, properly stocked, and visually appealing to maximize customer engagement. Monitor and maintain showroom layout and display standards.
  • Sales & Customer Service: Drive branch sales by setting targets, planning promotional activities, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue goals. Ensure the highest standards of customer service are upheld at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure adequate inventory to meet customer demands. Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shrinkage.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and manage showroom staff. Foster a team environment that encourages motivation, professional growth, and high performance. Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage branch expenses to maximize profitability. Track and report on key financial metrics, including sales, expenses, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their needs, responding to feedback, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements to create a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management, ideally in electronics, gadgets, or furniture sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performance team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
