Best Diwali AC Offers in Salem and Where to Buy Them

If you’re replacing an older AC or furnishing a home in Salem, AC Diwali offers 2026 at Darling Retail include up to 55% off on selected air conditioners, along with cashback, EMI options and additional purchase benefits.

Compare models that suit your room, then contact the Aathur and Edappadi branches or another Darling Retail showroom serving Salem to check availability. Ask for the total purchase price, installation charges and the offers applicable to your chosen AC.

Why Should I Consider Buying an AC During Diwali?

For households in Salem, Diwali promotions provide an opportunity to compare festive prices and available payment benefits on selected air conditioners. Buying before the warmer months also gives you time to plan the installation location and any electrical work.

However, a festive discount alone does not determine whether an AC is a suitable purchase. Compare the same model’s final price, energy consumption and warranty, including installation expenses.

If you’re considering an EMI plan, ask for the total payable amount alongside the monthly instalment.

How Can I Choose the Right AC Capacity?

Cooling capacity should match the room’s requirements. An undersized AC may struggle to cool the space, while choosing a larger unit without assessing the room can add unnecessary expense.

1-Ton AC

A 1-ton air conditioner may suit a smaller bedroom, depending on sunlight exposure, insulation and occupancy. Check the room’s cooling requirements before selecting a model.

1.5-Ton AC

A 1.5-ton AC is an option to compare for medium-sized rooms. Suitability depends on factors such as ceiling height, window area and whether the room receives direct afternoon sunlight.

2-Ton AC

Larger rooms or spaces with a higher heat load may require greater cooling capacity. Ask for a room assessment before choosing a higher-capacity unit.

Room size is only part of the decision. Share the room dimensions, floor level, sunlight exposure and usual occupancy with the showroom team when comparing models.

Should I Choose an Inverter AC?

An inverter air conditioner adjusts compressor operation according to cooling requirements. A fixed-speed AC generally uses on-and-off compressor cycles.

When comparing the two, review the exact model’s efficiency, purchase price and expected usage. Ask about warranty coverage for the compressor and electronic components, as well as service availability.

Choose based on how often you’ll use the AC and the room’s cooling needs rather than relying on the inverter label alone.

What Should I Check Before Buying an Air Conditioner?

Energy Rating and Electricity Consumption

Compare the energy labels and estimated annual electricity consumption of models with similar capacities. Check the label details for the exact model you intend to purchase.

Your actual electricity use will also depend on operating hours, temperature settings and room conditions.

Installation Requirements

Ask whether standard installation is included in the quoted price. Confirm what the installation package covers and which materials cost extra.

Additional copper piping, drain pipes, outdoor-unit brackets or electrical work can affect the total bill.

Warranty Coverage

Review the warranty for the complete unit, compressor and electronic components separately. Ask about exclusions and whether any extended warranty is included or available at an additional charge.

Indoor and Outdoor Unit Placement

Check where both units can be installed and how the piping will run between them. Discuss drainage, ventilation and access for future servicing with the installation team.

Service Availability

Confirm how to arrange authorised service in your area. Keep the invoice, warranty documents and installation records after purchase.

What Should I Check Before I Buy an AC Online?

Before you buy an AC online, compare the exact model number, cooling capacity and energy label. Similar product names can refer to models with different specifications.

Review the complete purchase arrangements before making payment.
