As an Area Sales Manager at Darling Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales performance of multiple retail showrooms specializing in electronics, gadgets, and furniture. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all branches under your supervision meet their sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence. You will work closely with branch managers to align strategies, monitor performance, and ensure profitability across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance across branches and provide guidance to optimize results.

Branch Support:

  • Oversee showroom operations across locations, ensuring branches are well-maintained, stocked, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Work with branch managers to enhance visual merchandising and customer engagement.

Sales Leadership:

  • Set and review sales targets for branches.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and attract customers.

Team Management:

  • Mentor and support branch managers and their teams to achieve high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide development opportunities for staff.

Inventory & Financial Oversight:

  • Ensure branches maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor expenses and profitability at each branch and implement measures to enhance financial performance.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster strong customer relationships by addressing escalated concerns and feedback.
  • Promote a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all branches.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all branches adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, with a focus on multi-branch operations.
  • Proven track record of achieving regional sales targets and leading high-performance teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
